Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Play and downtime are essential for all ages. In this session, we will discover the importance of play and creativity for mental health and well being. Most importantly, we will play! This session is unique in that we will provide lots of opportunities for hands on play with loose parts. Loose parts are open ended items like boxes, sheets, rain gutters, tires, etc. Anything that can be manipulated, stacked, lined up, taken apart, carried, is considered a loose part.

Key Takeaways
  • The importance of play and downtime for all ages
  • How to find what you enjoy
  • Unlocking creativity through loose parts
